I have to say that the only interest I displayed about the topic of this post was when seeing a headline on the NYT's front page: "Ducks Win!" or something like that. Once I realized it was a hockey story, I moved my drool-covered chin off my chest just enough to click the back button.
I don't mean to disrespect your hometown team or anything, but I must say, pro hockey is dead to me. I put it on my most recent list of things I could not care about less.
To hockey's credit, they only finished six places behind recent discussion of Paris Hilton getting out of jail.
I think that says something about the NHL, overall.
